Be the first to review this product. The Norway Maple Crimson King is a fast-growing tree eventually quite large but easily pruned to confine its spread for many years. Its oval to rounded dense crown fills with ornamental clusters of reddish-orange flowers in the spring just as the leaves emerge. The Crimson Sentry Maple has purple foliage similar to that of the Crimson King but is much smaller and pyramidal to oval in shape making it ideal for tight locations and urban landscapes. The oval to rounded crown fills with maroon-yellow flowers in the spring. The Norway maple was introduced to northeastern North America between 1750 and 1760 as an ornamental shade tree.
