Do College Credits Expire. I stopped going to school 8 years ago. I went to a university for 2 and a half years freshman and sophomore semesters and summer school and i was i few credits off from being a junior. But the more relevant question may be. They will always be on your educational record. In fact for as long as your nephew is alive he will need to provide an official copy of that CC transcript whenever he applies to a degree program or for a job that asks for all of his transcripts - even if he ultimately works his way up to a PhD. It all depends on the collegeuniversity itself. In other words credits for courses passed after 112006 are CONTINGENT until completion of a College program of study at which time they become PERMANENT. In other words you can dust up all your college credits and decide to use them to advance your study or transfer them to a new school.
