Homemade Dry Erase Board Cleaner. Alternatively pour half a cup of soda into a bowl dip your cloth into it and wipe the board clean. Mix equal parts of the two liquids and apply the solution to the whiteboard. Place lid on the bottle and shake vigorously. Fill your container with rubbing alcohol.
Place lid on the bottle and shake vigorously. We have a huge dry erase board in our home and we love it really our kids love it. The board was divided in half to give both cleaners a fair shot and my kids accuse me of being unfair. Commercial dry erase board cleaners contain bleach alcohol or other cleaning ingredients found in households. Using a cloth moistened with whiteboard cleaner is enough to keep a board clean if used every week. Do so by adding 14 cup of white vinegar to 2 cups of water.
Wipe the board with the damp cloth until the remaining marks disappear.
Use the paper towel to spread the sanitizer around the entire board. The most common and effective one is a solution of equal parts of vinegar and water. Again a mix of isopropyl alcohol and water is the best solution to clean a whiteboard but there are a variety of other options that work just as well. To clean a chalkboard start by removing most of the chalk with an eraser using an up-and-down motion. Then combine water and white vinegar put some on a cloth and wipe your chalkboard with the homemade cleaning solution. Then I used the Expo Dry Erase Board cleaner on the left hand side.
